Mix 1/2 cup milk with 1 tbsp lime juice and let it curdle for 5 minutes. In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 3 tbsp milk, and 1/2 cup icing sugar. Add the milk-lime mixture and whisk. |

Sift in 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix well. |

Grease a 4-inch round cake pan with butter paper and pour in the batter. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 25 minutes. Let the cake cool for 1 hour, then remove from the pan and level the top. |

Slice the cake into layers using a knife and turntable. Spread 1 spoon of whipped cream on the plate, and place the top layer upside down. Brush with water for moisture. |
