About
Til Gud Papad is a traditional Indian sweet snack made from sesame seeds (til) and jaggery (gud). It is popular during festivals like Makar Sankranti and is known for its crispy and thin texture. Heat up the pan, dry roast 200 gm white sesame seeds (til) on medium flame for 7-8 mins, keep stirring. |

Transfer roasted til in a bowl Add 1.5 tsp ghee in the same pan (You can also add elaichi powder in this mixture - optional) Add 200 gm jaggery (gud), cook it on medium flame for 4 mins until it melts. |

(To check if jaggery is cooked, take a small bowl of water pour some drops of cooked jaggery in it. Keep it for a minute and then check, if it turns hard like crystals your jaggery is cooked well) |

Cook for a minute, keep stirring and then add roasted sesame seeds in it Turn off the stove and mix it well (Take out some mixture to make papad and keep the it on slow flame for further process). |

Further take a plastic sheet greased with ghee, add some til mixture on it. Take a glass, grease it with ghee from outer side of the base. |

Spread the mixture and flatten it with the help of glass Add some chopped pistachios Then flatten it more with the help of rolling pin greased with ghee (Do this process while the mixture is warm) Leave it for half an hour. |

Take some til mixture on plastic sheet greased with ghee Pat with hands and spread it with the help of glass Flatten with the help of rolling pin greased with ghee and make a thick layer. |

Cut it into square(or any shape) with the help of knife and leave it for half an hour (Do this process while the mixture is warm) Here's your Sankranti Special Delicious Til Ke Papad And Chikki ready. |
