salt
1 cup water
2 tsp Butter
1 tsp Jeera

Warm up with a bowl of this incredibly nutritious Moong Dal Drumstick Soup! It’s the perfect blend of health and comfort, packed with vitamins, minerals, and plant-based protein. Take 3 drumsticks, peel and cut in small pieces.

In a pressure cooker, take 1/2 cup soaked (for 2 hours) yellow moong dal.

Add few cloves of garlic, 1 big onion sliced, 3 medium size tomatoes and chopped 3 drum stick.

- Add salt and 1 cup water. Cover and cook on medium flame, till you get 3 whistles.

Once the cooker goes down, open the lid and blend the soup. (Preferably blend with a hand blender because after boiling drumstick will become fibrous.)

And strain the soup. (Most important step for this recipe, do not miss it).

Now in a pan, take 2 tsp butter, once it melts, add 1 tsp Jeera and some crushed black pepper.

Once Jeera crackles, add boiled soup.

Bring it one boil, turn off the heat and at last add, some chilli flakes and lime juice.
