1 medium size sweet potato

1/2 cup chopped coriander

2-3 green chillies

a few curry leaves

1 finely chopped medium size onion onion

100 g crumbled paneer

1 tsp roasted white sesame seeds

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp garam masala or kitchen king masala

1.5 cup ragi atta

In a pressure cooker, add some water. Place a plate or stand into that. On that place 1 medium size sweet potato. |

Cover the cooker with the lid and pressure cook sweet potato on medium flame till you get 3 whistles. |

Once the cooker gets cool down, peel the sweet potato and mash it. |

Into that add, 1/2 cup chopped coriander, 2-3 green chillies, a few curry leaves finely chopped, 1 medium size onion finely chopped and 100 gm crumbled paneer. (I have used homemade paneer). |

Add a small piece of grated ginger, 1 tbs roasted white sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala or kitchen king masala and salt as per taste. |

Now add 1.5 cup ragi atta, mix everything well and then add warm water as required into the atta and make a soft dough as shown in video. |

If you like you can directly make paratha on the hot tawa OR otherwise you can shape the paratha on the wet cloth with wet hands and then place the paratha on a hot tawa. TIP: Please do not make very thin paratha, as it may break if it’s too thin. |

Now place the paratha on the hot tawa, let the upper surface get dry and then apply some ghee and flip the paratha and apply ghee on other side and let paratha cook till you get golden color on both sides. |

Serve these delicious paratha with chutney or white butter. Perfect for kids tiffin as well. |
