Ingredients

200 gm Chilean Cherries(pitted and chopped for pulp)

2 & 1/4 cup Water(for the tea base and for blending the pulp)

2 Tea Bags(mildly flavored, like green or light black tea)

1 large Cinnamon Stick

1 fresh stem Rosemary(plus extra for garnish)

1 large Lemonjuiced

some Sweetener: Honey or sugar(to taste—Chilean cherries are naturally very sweet!)

few chopped pieces Extra Cherriesfor serving/texture

As needed Ice Cubes(if serving cold)

Optional Spirits: Rum or Vodka(for the cocktail version)

Take 200 gm Cherries and Make Pulp. I have used Cherries from Chile which are juicy and sweet. (Remove the seeds of the cherry, cut into small pieces, take it in a blender jar and add 1/4 cup of water, blend it smooth) |

Now in a pan, take 2 cups of water |

Into that add, 2 tea bags of your choice (I will prefer mild flavoured tea bags). |

Once you get amber color, remove the tea bags. (Because we don’t very strong tea flavour). |

Then add 1 large cinnamon stick and 1 rosemary stem. |

Bring it to boil. Turn off the heat, let the tea cool down a bit. |

Then add prepared Cherry Pulp, One Lemon Juice and honey for sweetness (you can add sugar if you wish optionally). |

Mix the tea well. |

For serving, add some chopped cherries into a glass, then pour the prepared tea, garnish with cinnamon stick and rosemary. |

You may have this tea warm as well cold on the rocks. (With ice cubes). |
