Cranberry Chocolate Truffle Balls are a delicious treat made by combining melted chocolate with dried cranberries. The mixture is chilled until firm, then shaped into small balls. These truffles are often rolled in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or chopped nuts for extra flavor and texture. The tartness of cranberries perfectly complements the richness of the chocolate. These truffles are an indulgent, easy-to-make dessert perfect for gifting or special occasions.

Steps

1
Done

Heat 100g of cooking cream or fresh cream in a pan on low flame for 5 minutes.

2
Done

In two separate bowls, add 100g of white chocolate in one and 100g of dark chocolate in the other. Melt them in the oven or on the stove.

3
Done

Add 1 tsp of coffee powder (optional) to the melted dark chocolate, then add 50g of warm cream to both the dark and white chocolate mixtures. Mix well and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until semi-set.

4
Done

On a plate, mix 1/2 cup of finely chopped US cranberries with some edible golden balls.

5
Done

Once the chocolate mixtures are semi-set and sticky (apply melted butter to your hands for ease), roll 1 tbsp of dark chocolate mixture into a ball, then roll it in the cranberry mixture to coat. Repeat for the white chocolate mixture.

6
Done

Place all truffle balls in the refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight to set. Drizzle melted dark chocolate on a serving plate, decorate with edible golden balls and chopped cranberries, and place the truffle balls on top. Enjoy your cranberry chocolate truffle balls!
