200 gm Fresh Tuvar Dana

1/2 cup Water

1 tsp Haldi Powder (Turmeric Powder)

as per taste Salt

Small bunch Fresh Garlic

2-3 Green Chillies

Small piece Ginger

2 tbs Oil

1/2 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)

1.5 tsp Dhania Powder (Coriander Powder)

2 cups Fresh Methi Leavesfinely chopped

2 tbs Besan (Gram Flour)

In a pressure cooker, take 200 gm fresh tuvar dana. |

Into that add, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 tsp Haldi Powder and salt per taste. |

Pressure cook this on medium flame upto 2 whistles. |

To make masala, in a chopper take small bunch of fresh garlic, 2-3 green chillies and a small piece of ginger. |

Chop / Crush them coarsely. Keep it aside. |

Now in a kadhai, add 2 tbs oil, into that add 1/2 tsp hing and prepare garlic-ginger-chili masala. |

Then add salt per taste and let masala fry for 2 minutes. |

Now add 1/2 tsp Haldi powder and 1.5 tsp Dhania Powder. |

Let masala cook on slow flame for 2 minutes. |

Now add 2 cups finely chopped fresh methi leaves. |

Mix it properly and cover sabzee - let methi cook on medium flame (it will take 7-8 minutes). |

Then open the lid and add pre-boiled fresh tuvar dana. Mix well. |

For binding, take 2 tbs besan in a plate, into that 1/2 tsp oil - rub besan so that oil gets mixed properly and then dust this besan into the sabzee. |

Cover it again and let it cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. |
