100 gm tamarind (imli)
1/2 cup water (for soaking)
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
2-3 finely chopped green chillies (adjust to taste)
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (to taste)
1.5 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1.5 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
Salt (to taste)
A small piece of jaggery (adjust to taste)
1 medium-sized boiled potato, grated
Water (to adjust consistency)

Soak 100 gm tamarind in 1/2 cup water for 30 minutes. After soaking, squeeze the tamarind to remove the pulp.

Add the finely chopped onion, green chillies, and chopped coriander to the tamarind pulp. Stir in 1.5 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1.5 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt, and the piece of jaggery.
