Steps

1
Done

To Make the custard, Boil ½ litre of milk in a saucepan and add 2 Tbsp of condensed milk. Stir well on low to medium heat.

2
Done

In a small bowl, dilute 1 Tbsp of custard powder in ¼ cup of room-temperature milk. Pour this slowly into the boiling milk while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

3
Done

Keep stirring the mixture until it thickens into a smooth custard. Let it cool down to room temperature.

4
Done

Once cooled, add ½ cup of fresh mango purée to the custard and mix well. Refrigerate this mixture for a couple of hours.

5
Done

Dice fresh mangoes and keep them ready. Crush your favorite biscuits to use as the base layer

6
Done

(Optional) If using jelly, prepare it as per the packet instructions and pour into serving glasses as the bottom layer. Let it set in the fridge.

7
Done

On top of the jelly (or directly in the serving glass if skipping jelly), add a layer of crushed biscuits.

8
Done

Pour the chilled mango custard over the biscuit layer and spread evenly. Add a layer of diced fresh mangoes over the custard.

9
Done

Top with a spoonful of whipped cream or sweet fresh cream, depending on your preference.

10
Done

Garnish with more diced mangoes and a sprinkle of finely chopped pistachios for a final gourmet touch.
