Methi na Gota is a popular Gujarati snack or fritter made from fresh fenugreek leaves and gram flour (besan). It’s a flavorful and crunchy snack that’s often served with a variety of chutneys and a hot cup of tea.
It’s a popular choice during the monsoon season in India but can be enjoyed anytime as a tasty and savory treat.

Heat a pan and dry roast black pepper and coriander seeds for 4-5 minutes on low to medium flame. Crush them slightly and set aside for later use. |

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of fenugreek leaves,1 tbsp of the prepared pepper-coriander crush mix, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp sugar, a pinch of hing, 1 cup of besan, 1 tbsp fine semolina (barik sooji), and salt as per your taste. |

Mix the ingredients well and gradually add water to make a medium-thick batter. |

Add 1/4 tsp of baking soda and the juice of half a lemon. Mix the batter once more. |

Heat medium-hot oil in a pan. |

Fry the prepared batter in the hot oil on low to medium flame until it is cooked completely inside and out, and you get a golden color. |
