This protein-packed twist on the traditional besan chila replaces the usual batter with vibrant green peas, making it more nutritious, flavorful, and oh-so-delicious! Many dismiss green peas as a boring vegetable, thinking they’re just fillers in curries and pulavs. But mutter (peas) are nutritional powerhouses—high in protein, fiber, and essential vitamins. When blended into a chila, they turn into a soft, fluffy, and naturally sweet delight that you’ll love at first bite!

Benefits of Matar Chila

Green peas chila is a wholesome, protein-rich dish that keeps you full and energized for hours. The combination of green peas and besan provides essential nutrients while making the meal light yet satisfying. Packed with fiber, this chila supports digestion, and the addition of ginger and chilies helps improve metabolism. The natural sweetness of peas balances the spices, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults.
