2 Dry Red Chillies (soaked in 2 tbsp water)

1/2 cup yellow moong dal (soaked for 1 hour in hot water)FOR THE DOSA

1/4 cup rice (soaked for 1 hour in hot water)

1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

1/2 tsp asafoetida powder (hing)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)

2-3 dry red chillies

Salt to taste

1/2 - 3/4 cup Water

Oil or ghee (for cooking)

For Chutney - - In a a mixer jar, take 1/2 cup roasted Peanuts. |

Add 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera), 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Amchur Powder & salt per taste |

Add 2 Dry Red Chillies (soaked in 2 tbs water).And some water |

Grind everything and make smooth chutney |

For Tadka- - Heat the pan and add 2 tsp Oil. |

Add 1 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai) and 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Powder (Hing). |

Pour this hot tadka on chutney |

In a mixer jar, grind soaked urad dal, yellow moong dal, rice, cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, dry red chillies, and salt, adding ½ - ¾ cup water to make a smooth batter. |

Mix the batter well and let it rest for 20 minutes (optional). |

Heat a greased tawa and spread the batter evenly to form a dosa. |

Drizzle some oil or ghee and sprinkle sesame seeds (optional). Let the dosa cook until golden, no need to flip. |
