In a pan, dry roast the following ingredients on medium heat: 2 tsp Jeera, 7-8 black peppercorns, 3 dry red chilies, and 1 tsp Saunf. Roast until the spices become aromatic, but be careful not to burn them. |

Remove the roasted spices from the pan and allow them to cool to room temperature. |

Once the roasted spices have cooled, coarsely pound them in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder. Then, add salt to taste 1 tsp black salt, 1 tsp Amchur powder, 1/2 tsp Asafoetida, and 2 tsp sugar & mix well. |
