In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup ragi atta and salt to taste. |

Gradually add 1/2 cup warm water and knead into a soft dough. |

Roast 5 medium-sized tomatoes and 1 raw mango on a wire rack over a gas flame until charred. |

Let them cool, then peel off the skins. |

Roll the rested dough into small balls. Dip each ball in sesame seeds (safed til) and dust with dry flour. |

Roll out thin rotis using a rolling pin. Heat a pan and roast the rotis on both sides, pressing them as they cook (alternatively, roast on a direct gas flame). |

Coarsely crush the peeled, charred tomatoes and mango. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. |

Add salt to taste, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 finely chopped green chilli, finely chopped coriander, a pinch of red chilli powder, and 1/2 tsp jaggery powder. Mix well. |
