A dish called “moong dal” and the idea of an omelette are combined to create moonglet. It resembles a savory pancake or omelette and is created from a batter of ground moong dal, onions, tomatoes, spices, and occasionally herbs. Moonglet is a protein-dense dish that can be especially helpful for vegetarians and vegans trying to enhance their protein.

Here is Moonglet Pizza, which is created with moong dal if you have a need for pizza but don’t want to consume too many carbohydrates. Enjoy the monsoon with this special, convenient method.

In a mixer jar, take 1 cup Moong Dal (soaked for 3-4 hours).
Add 2 Green Chilies and Salt to taste.
Churn to make fine batter.
Transfer it in a mixing bowl.

Further heat the pan to make Pizza Puree.
Pour 1 tsp Oil.
Add 2 finely chopped Garlic Cloves, Tomato Puree, 1 tsp Mix Herbs, /2 tsp Chilli Flakes, 1 tbs Tomato Ketchup and mix it well.
Cover the lid and cook for 7-8 min on medium heat.

Further in the batter, add 1 tsp Fruit Salt.
Mix it well and let's quickly start making Moonglet.
Heat the pan, add 1/2 tsp Oil and wipe with a tissue.
Pour batter and spread it around.

Drizzle Oil on it.
Flip once cooked and spread Pizza Puree on it.
Add some finely chopped Onion and Capcicum, boiled Sweetcorn.
Sprinkle Pizza Seasonings and add grated Cheese.
Cover the lid until Cheese melts and the base turns little crisp.

Take it on a serving plate.
Cut into triangles and top with a Basil Leave.
