In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup curd (dahi) with 2 spoons of water. |

Add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi), red chili powder to taste, and 1/2 tsp sugar (optional). |

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the mixture and mix everything well. Set it aside. |

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and add 1/2 spoon of butter. |

When the butter melts, add 1 tsp mustard seeds (rai) and 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera). |

Saute finely chopped veggies (onion, carrot, and capsicum) until they become tender. |
