Ingredients

1 cup grated bottle gourd (Lauki)- make sure you don’t grate the middle seeds part of lauki
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup besan
3-4 green chilli paste
1 small piece of ginger grated
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
3 Tsp Dhania powder
2 Tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
1/2 Tsp Haldi Powder (turmeric)
1/2 Tsp Hing - optional
1 Tbsp Kasoori Methi
Salt per taste
1/4 cup Curd (use as required)
Fresh Coriander
Sugar (I have not added- it’s optional but you can add some)

Mix all ingredients well to form a soft dough.

Apply some oil on the dough to prevent it from getting sticky.

Divide the dough into portions and roll each thinly, using dry flour as needed.

Place the rolled thepla on a hot tawa and dry cook on both sides until golden bubbles appear.

Apply oil on both sides and cook for an additional minute on medium flame.

Enjoy the thepla with chai and chunda.
