1 cup grated bottle gourd (Lauki)- make sure you don’t grate the middle seeds part of lauki

1/2 cup wheat flour

1/4 cup besan

3-4 green chilli paste

1 small piece of ginger grated

1 tbsp white sesame seeds

3 Tsp Dhania powder

2 Tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder

1/2 Tsp Haldi Powder (turmeric)

1/2 Tsp Hing - optional

1 Tbsp Kasoori Methi

Salt per taste

1/4 cup Curd (use as required)

Mix all ingredients well to form a soft dough. |

Apply some oil on the dough to prevent it from getting sticky. |

Divide the dough into portions and roll each thinly, using dry flour as needed. |

Place the rolled thepla on a hot tawa and dry cook on both sides until golden bubbles appear. |

Apply oil on both sides and cook for an additional minute on medium flame. |
