Ingredients

1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp milk (room temperature)
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 cup oil (any odourless)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup powder sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour (PLEASE IGNORE THE MEASUREMENT IN VIDEO WHICH SAYS 1/3rd CUP, IT’s 3/4th CUP) from which you remove 1 tbs Maida and add 1 tbs cocoa powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp coffee powder
1/2 cup icing sugar
A pinch of salt
100 gm dark chocolate
100 gm fresh cream
1 cup whipping cream (after whipping will become 1.5-2 cup)
Some hazelnut spread
150 gm dry roasted chopped hazelnut
Some dry roasted sliced almonds

This Eggless Hazelnut Chocolate Cake is a soft and spongy dessert made without eggs. It combines the rich flavor of chocolate with the crunchy texture of hazelnuts for a delicious treat. The cake uses ingredients like flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and milk, with a touch of baking soda for fluffiness. It’s easy to prepare, requiring simple steps like mixing dry ingredients and incorporating wet ones. The cake can be frosted with a chocolate or hazelnut spread for extra indulgence.

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup milk with 1 tbsp lime juice, let it curdle for 5 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 tbsp milk, and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Mix well.

Sift in 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp coffee powder. Add the milk-lime mixture and 1 tbsp milk. Mix with a whisk.

Grease a 4-inch round cake mold, line with butter paper, and pour in the batter. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let the cake cool for 2 hours before removing it from the mold and leveling the top.

Melt 100 gm dark chocolate and 100 gm fresh cream together in the oven or on the stove. Mix well.

Slice the cooled cake into layers using a knife and turntable. Whip 1 cup cream until it doubles in size.

Place the bottom cake layer on a plate, brush with water, and spread a layer of whipped cream. Add chocolate cream (mix ganache and whipped cream), a spoonful of hazelnut spread, and chopped dry fruits.

Place the second cake layer, add more chocolate cream, hazelnut spread, and dry fruits. Cover the cake with chocolate cream, decorate with dry fruits, and pipe star-shaped cream drops on top. Finish with hazelnut chocolate. Enjoy!
