About
I have curated this excellent, healthy snack for those days when you crave something savoury but want to keep it light. My High Protein Sweetcorn Paneer Parcel is packed with the goodness of paneer and sweetcorn. Sweetcorn is naturally rich in dietary fibre, vitamins, and antioxidants that support healthy digestion and vision. Instead of deep-frying like traditional samosas or kachoris, I shallow-fry these parcels with just a few drops of oil, ensuring they crisp up perfectly while sitting very lightly in the stomach.
Nutrition
These parcels offer a fantastic balance of high-quality protein from the paneer and beneficial complex carbohydrates and fibre from the sweetcorn. Using only a few drops of oil keeps the fat content in check, making this a heart-healthy choice.(Estimated nutritional values based on 1 serving, assuming the recipe serves 4)

Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the parcel. (Tip: I use a single rice paper for each parcel, but you may choose to use two rice papers layered together for that extra crunch). |

Zero-Waste & Substitutes Zero-Waste Kitchen: Do not throw away the empty corn cobs and the clean vegetable scraps (like onion skins and capsicum tops). You can boil them in water to create a flavourful, nutrient-dense vegetable broth for your soups or gravies. Substitutes: If you want a vegan option, you can easily swap the paneer for firm tofu. If you do not have rice paper on hand, blanched cabbage leaves work as a wonderful, low-carb wrap substitute for these parcels. |
