About
Khichdi kadhi is a simple and comforting North Indian dish made with rice and lentils (khichdi) and served with a yogurt-based curry (kadhi).
Both khichdi and kadhi are easy on the digestive system and provide essential nutrients, making them an ideal meal for people of all ages.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker. |

Add 3 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2-3 bay leaves, 2 dry red chilies, 1.5 teaspoons of cumin seeds, 1.5 teaspoons of white sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of raw peanuts, and a pinch of asafoetida powder. |

Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder. |

Add finely chopped vegetables, including carrots, green chilies, French beans, potatoes, and brinjal. |

Add some green peas, salt, and red chili powder according to taste. |

Add an additional 1/2 cup of water, Kitchen King Masala/Garam Masala, 1 medium-sized finely chopped tomato, and 1 teaspoon of ghee. |

Mix everything well and seal the cooker again, cooking for 1 more whistle. |

For Kadhi, in a bowl, take 1/2 cup sour curd. |

Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour (besan), a little water, and salt to taste. |

Heat a deep base pan and add 1 teaspoon of ghee. |

Crush 1 green chili and a small knob of ginger and add it. |
