150 gm lauki (bottle gourd), shredded

A small piece of ginger

1/2 tsp carrom seeds (ajwain)

1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

2 tsp white sesame seeds (safed til)

1 cup jowar flour (sorghum flour)

1/4 cup besan (gram flour)

1/4 cup chawal ka atta (rice flour)

3-4 tbsp curd

Shred 150 gm lauki and keep it aside. Pound 2-3 green chillies, a small piece of ginger, and 2-3 garlic cloves into a paste. |

Add the pounded paste to the shredded lauki. Mix in a big bunch of coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp carrom seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 tsp white sesame seeds, and salt to taste. |

In a bowl, combine 1 cup jowar flour, 1/4 cup besan, and 1/4 cup chawal ka atta. Add 3-4 tbsp curd and mix everything nicely to form a soft dough. Add a little water if needed to achieve the right consistency. |

Heat a pan and brush it with a few drops of oil. Take some dough (using wet hands) and spread it evenly on the pan, shaping it into a round flatbread. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. |

Cook the thalipith on medium flame until it is golden brown on both sides. |
