Patti Samosa is a crispy, golden snack filled with spicy, flavorful stuffing and wrapped in thin pastry sheets. Cooking them in an air fryer gives the same crunchy texture as deep-frying but with much less oil, making it a healthier option. Pressure cook soaked Chana Dal with a pinch of haldi and salt for 1 whistle. Spread the boiled dal on tissue paper to cool completely. |

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp fennel seeds, and 2 tsp white sesame seeds. Let them splutter. |

Add 2 finely chopped medium-sized onions, green chillies as per taste, and 1 small chopped ginger. Sauté until onions turn golden. |

Mix in 2 tsp coriander-cumin powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala, and 1 tsp dry mango powder. Stir well. |

Add 3 tbsp desiccated coconut and the cooled chana dal. Stir everything together and cook for a few minutes. |

Add 2 tsp sugar, salt to taste, and mix well. Let the mixture cool completely, then add chopped coriander and mint leaves. |

Take samosa patti, fold into triangles, and fill with the stuffing. Seal the edges using maida slurry. |

Arrange the samosas in a preheated air fryer. Brush with oil and air fry at 180°C for a few minutes. |
