Dry roast the black sesame seeds on a slow to medium flame for 7-8 minutes.

Add the pumpkin seeds to the pan and dry roast both seeds together for another 7-8 minutes.

Finally, add the dry coconut and roast the entire mixture for 2 more minutes.

Add the soft, de-seeded dates and immediately turn off the heat, but keep stirring the mixture. Let it come to room temperature.

Once cooled, grind the mixture in a blender using the pulse setting.

Add the elaichi powder to give the laddoos a beautiful aroma and flavour.

Here is the magic step! Continuously mix the ground mixture with your hands for about 5 minutes. The warmth and friction will cause the seeds to release their natural oils, which perfectly binds the mixture together without any extra ghee or oil!
