Ingredients

250g Cherries(pitted and chopped)

2 tbsp Water

1/4 cup Jaggery(adjust to taste)

A pinch Salt

1/2 lime Lime Juice

Cut 250 gm Cherries into small pieces, remove the seeds. |

Heat the pan on a medium flame. |

Place the cut cherries into the pan, add 2 tbs water. |

Cover the pan, and let the cherries cook on medium flame, till it becomes soft and mushy. |

Open the lead, mash the cherries with spatula and then add 1/4 cup jaggery (you may increase or decrease quantity of jaggery as per your taste) |

Cook the jam on medium flame till it gets thick consistency (as shown in the video. |

Once mixture becomes thick, keep stirring. |

Once the jam becomes thick, turn off the heat and let the jam cool down. |

Then add a pinch of salt and 1/2 lime juice to balone the sweetness. |

You can store this delicious jam in fridge for upto 2 months. |

To serve- - Take the toasted bread and Spread some cream cheese or hung curd. |

On that place some cherry jam and sprinkle some chili flakes and salt, garnish with parsley or mint leave. |
