1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Oil (i used extra virgin coconut oil)
1 Tsp Instant Coffee (diluted with water)
1 cup Wheat Flour
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
Roasted Walnuts

The Dates & Walnut Chocolate Cake is a healthy dessert option made without sugar, butter, or maida (refined flour). Sweetened naturally with dates, it offers a rich, moist texture and a deep chocolate flavor. Whole wheat flour or alternative flours like almond flour are used instead of maida. Walnuts add a delightful crunch and boost the nutritional value with healthy fats and proteins. This cake is ideal for those looking for a wholesome, guilt-free indulgence.

Soak 150 gm of seedless dates in 1.5 cups of warm milk. Blend this mixture to make a smooth dates puree.

Transfer the dates puree into a mixing bowl.

Add 1/4 cup of any odorless oil. Add 1 tsp of instant coffee (diluted with a small amount of water). Whisk well to mix all the wet ingredients.

Take a strainer and add 1 cup of wheat flour. Add 2 tbsp of cocoa powder. Add 1/2 tsp of baking powder and 1 tsp of baking soda.

Sift these dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet mixture.

Mix everything well with a whisk until you get a smooth batter. Line a baking loaf pan with parchment paper.

Pour the batter into the pan until it is 3/4 full. Top with roasted walnuts and chocolate chips.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Bake the cake for 40 minutes.

Place a stand in a large vessel and preheat for 10-15 minutes.

Place the baking loaf on the stand, cover with a lid, and bake for 60 minutes on low to medium heat.
