Ingredients

2 rows sweetcorns
1/4 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1 small piece Carrot finely chopped
1/2 Medium Green Capsicum finely chopped
A small bunch of fresh coriander
2 / 3 Green Chillies finely chopped
Mint Leaves chopped
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
Salt
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Fortune Kapasia Oil for frying
Chaat Masala sparkling
Coriander Mint Chutney for serving

You have to try these Crispy Sweetcorn Fritters! They make a wonderful party starter that everyone, from kids to elders, will absolutely love.

Take 2 raw sweetcorn, remove the kernels.

Blend half kernels into smooth puree and remove into mixing bowl.

Into that add remaining whole corn kernels.

Along with that add finely chopped a small piece of carrot, one medium size onion finely chopped, 1/2 medium size green capsicum, a small bunch of fresh coriander finely chopped, 2-3 green chillies finely chopped, a few meant leaves, salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp whole cumin seeds and 1/4 cup chickpeas flour.

Mix everything well, do not add water at this stage.

This batter should be thick (do not make it runny).

Now heat oil in kadai, I have taken Fortune Kapasia Oil, which keeps food fresh for long time.

Once the oil is hot, with help of your hand, fry the sweetcorn fritters on medium flame till you get golden color.

Once it’s done, sprinkle some chat masala on top.
