Ingredients

1/2 cup urad dal (soaked for 1 hour in hot water)
1/2 cup yellow moong dal (soaked for 1 hour in hot water)
1/4 cup rice (soaked for 1 hour in hot water)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp asafoetida powder (hing)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2-3 dry red chillies
Salt to taste
1/2 - 3/4 cup Water
Oil or ghee (for cooking)
Sesame seeds (optional)

In a mixer jar, grind soaked urad dal, yellow moong dal, rice, cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, dry red chillies, and salt, adding ½ - ¾ cup water to make a smooth batter.

Mix the batter well and let it rest for 20 minutes (optional).

Heat a greased tawa and spread the batter evenly to form a dosa.

Drizzle some oil or ghee and sprinkle sesame seeds (optional). Let the dosa cook until golden, no need to flip.
