Mogri Nu Shak is a traditional Gujarati dish made from the stem of the drumstick tree. The dish is primarily prepared by cooking the tender drumstick stems with spices, yogurt, and sometimes garlic. In a kadai, heat some oil and add 1 tsp mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds crackle, add 1/2 tsp hing. |

Add the chopped mogri and salt. Be careful with the salt and chili powder since mogri has natural saltiness and spiciness. |

Sprinkle some water and cover the kadai. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. |

Once the mogri gets a little tender, add red chili powder, dhania powder, and haldi powder. Mix well. |

Cover and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Once done, serve and enjoy with roti, paratha, or dal chawal! |
