Ingredients

1 cup Yellow Lentils (Moong Dal - soaked in water for 3-4 hours)
1 small Ginger Knob
Green Chillies (as per taste)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Salt as per taste
Water (as required)
150 gm Paneer For stuffing-
Finely chopped veggies (Capsicum, Carrot & Onion)
Salt as per taste
Crushed Black Pepper
Oil (to drizzle)

Say goodbye to traditional bread and hello to no bread moong dal toast! 🥪 This toast is not only delicious, but also packed with health benefits. Made from moong dal instead of Maida and yeast, it’s a healthier alternative with a unique twist. Plus, with a delicious filling of paneer and veggies, it’s a complete meal in itself. Serving these toasts with a cup of hot chai.

In a mixer jar, add 1 cup soaked Moong Dal, a small knob of Ginger, Green Chillies (as per taste), 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera), a pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi), and Salt to taste.

Add a little Water and churn to a thick batter consistency. Transfer the batter into a bowl and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine 150 gm diced Paneer with finely chopped veggies (Capsicum, Carrot, Onion).

Season with Salt to taste and sprinkle Crushed Black Pepper. Mix well.

Heat the toaster and apply Butter on it. Spread a thin layer of Moong Dal batter on the toaster.

Spoon the prepared stuffing mixture evenly over the batter. Cover the stuffing with another layer of Moong Dal batter. Drizzle some Oil over the top.

Close the toaster lid and cook on both sides until the toast is golden-brown and crisp.

Remove the Moong Dal Toast from the toaster and cut it into pieces. Arrange on a serving plate. Serve hot with Green Chutney and a cup of Tea.
