Instant beetroot oats dosa is a quick and nutritious variation of traditional dosa. It combines oats with grated beetroot and spices to create a colorful, savory pancake. The batter is prepared by mixing oats flour, beetroot, and seasoning, which is then spread onto a hot griddle. Cook until crisp and golden brown on both sides. Serve with chutney or sambar for a healthy and delicious meal

Steps

1
Done

Soak 1.5 cups of mildly roasted oats in water for 15 minutes.

2
Done

In a mixer jar, add 1/2 cup of soaked rice, 2-3 green chilies, a small knob of ginger, salt to taste, and 1 tsp cumin seeds. Add 1 boiled medium beetroot.

3
Done

Grind the mixture into a smooth paste without adding any water. Add the soaked oats to the mixture and grind again until the batter is smooth.

4
Done

Heat a non-stick pan and lightly oil it, then wipe off excess oil with a tissue. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot pan, spreading it evenly into a thin circle.

5

Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on a low flame until the dosa turns golden brown. Flip the dosa and cook the other side on high flame until crispy.

6

Optionally, you can add aloo masala (potato filling) to make a masala dosa. Fold the dosa in the middle and transfer it to a plate.

Follow the same procedure to make more dosas with the remaining batter. Enjoy your healthy and delicious Beetroot Oats Dosa!
