1.5 cup mildly roasted Oats (alternatively rolled oats can be used)

1/2 cup soaked Rice (soaked in water for 2 hours. Alternatively suji or besan can be used)

2-3 Green Chillies

1 small Ginger Knob

Salt as per taste

1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)

1 boiled medium Beetroot

Soak 1.5 cups of mildly roasted oats in water for 15 minutes. |

In a mixer jar, add 1/2 cup of soaked rice, 2-3 green chilies, a small knob of ginger, salt to taste, and 1 tsp cumin seeds. Add 1 boiled medium beetroot. |

Grind the mixture into a smooth paste without adding any water. Add the soaked oats to the mixture and grind again until the batter is smooth. |

Heat a non-stick pan and lightly oil it, then wipe off excess oil with a tissue. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot pan, spreading it evenly into a thin circle. |

Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on a low flame until the dosa turns golden brown. Flip the dosa and cook the other side on high flame until crispy. |

Optionally, you can add aloo masala (potato filling) to make a masala dosa. Fold the dosa in the middle and transfer it to a plate. |
