Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
500 gm Boiled Sweet Potatoes
1 Finely Chopped Small Ginger Knob
Finely Chopped Medium Sized Onion
Some freshly chopped Chillies
Handful of finely chopped Coriander
1 tsp Aamchur Powder (alternatively Lemon Juice can be used)
as per taste Salt
2 bread slices Brown Bread Crumbs (alternatively rice flour, crushed sabudana powder or poha can be used)
2-3 tbs Oil
To garnish : Chaat Masala & Pomegranate Seeds

Sweet potato patties are a nutritious and delicious snack or side dish. These sweet potato patties are not only tasty but also packed with nutrients. Sweet potatoes are a good source of dietary fiber, which aids digestion, helps maintain healthy bowel movements, and can contribute to better weight management.

Place sweet potatoes in a steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam for 15-20 minutes on medium heat until they are tender.
Peel the steamed sweet potatoes and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash them nicely.
To the mashed sweet potatoes, add finely chopped ginger, onion, chilies, coriander, Aamchur Powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add brown bread crumbs (2 slices) to the mixture and combine everything together.
Shape the mixture into small-sized patties with your hands.
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan.

Place the sweet potato patties in the hot oil and cook until both sides are golden-brown.
Remove the patties from the pan and serve them hot.
